The lovely, country village of Snainton is situated at the foot of the North York Moors and is an ideal location from which to explore the popular coastal resorts of Scarborough, Whitby and Filey. Snainton boasts a village shop/post office, two pubs serving food, a fabulous riding centre catering for all ages and abilities, and an excellent children’s playground. A driving range with par 3, 9 hole golf course is close by and many walks, cycle rides and country drives can be found in the vicinity. Quad biking is also available half a mile away. Experience Scampston Walled Garden with its renowned restaurant, enjoy a day’s fishing at Wykeham, 4 miles away, or visit Dalby Forest with its good walking, mountain biking and “Go Ape” walks for the more adventurous! Pickering, with its famous steam railway, castle and Beck Isle Museum, and the historic city of York are both within easy driving distance.

Outside, this Snainton cottage has a large, delightful garden, a lovely place for relaxing on a summer’s evening. The village of Snainton offers a country inn, whilst the nearby market town of Pickering has a good range of shops and tearooms, an historic castle, trout fishing and the famous North York Moors Steam Railway. The bustling seaside resort of Scarborough is only a few minutes' drive from this Snainton cottage, and has safe, sandy beaches, theatres, restaurants, golf courses and parks, while the Flamingo Park Zoo is only a little further away, and provides a fun day out for all the family. Whether it's stunning countryside or coastal towns you're looking for, this Snainton cottage provides easy access for both.
