Three delightful, single-storey cottages in a courtyard setting of five properties, in a quiet location in the coastal village of Skinningrove. These Skinningrove cottages have been built on the site of the original stables which housed the pit-ponies serving the old mine in the village, and have been thoughtfully designed, decorated and furnished to offer very comfortable, contemporary accommodation. Close to the Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum and Cleveland Way National Trail, and within easy reach of the beautiful moors and coastal countryside around, these lovely Skinningrove cottages make a great base for exploring the area, including the picturesque villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay, and the historic town of Whitby.

Previous visitors' comments about Prince Cottage:
It is a peaceful location. Our hosts were very nice and welcoming. The village itself is full of tradition. A good base to explore the area. We have stayed in a few cottages in this area and this is by far the best. The Leisure Centre at Loftus is good for any exercise needed. The beach at Skinningrove is quiet and peaceful.

Great location near to many areas on the North East coast that we wanted to explore. A tastefully decorated property and well heated which allowed us to relax after long days out walking. Good proximity to many picturesque beaches and coastlines.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage and there are some lovely walks in the surrounding area. Close to the sea as well, so our dog loved it! It has all the small touches to make the place more like home from home and we would definitely go again. Our hosts were very friendly and always available if we needed them. We would certainly recommend this to anyone.
