Location: Aislaby Near Whitby

Sleights 1 mile; Whitby 3 miles.

The village of Aislaby is located in the beautiful rolling countryside of the Esk Valley, overlooking Sleights and just three miles from Whitby. A small rural village, quiet and secluded, Aislaby boasts pretty sandstone cottages clustered around a main street and a thriving community served by the old church. In the surrounding area visit the famous church of St Hedda with its painted ceiling, walk through the beautiful Arncliffe Woods, or explore the old mill on the banks of the River Esk. The location is also ideal for exploring the spectacular North York Moors and the many small fishing villages and resort towns of this beautiful coastline. Nearby Whitby, once the home of Captain James Cook, is a charming, atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

Previous visitors' comments about Beech Hill Manor:

A massive house, plenty of room for everyone to chill out; the kids were on the landing! Gardens great too for games of football or rounders...and our 2 dogs were very happy. We came for my son's 18th birthday and a memorable weekend was had by all.
Mrs Fawcett, Pickering, January 2012

Fantastic reception by the owner. This is the perfect house for friends and family to get together.
Ms Lamb, Durham, October 2011

We had a wonderful week with our extended family to celebrate an 80th birthday. The house had everything we needed and we found the owners kind and hospitable and ready to answer any questions and sort things out for us quickly. What a great place to relax. There were many places to visit around the area, too many to fit in one week. We'd gladly recommend Beech Hill Manor as a great lovely place to stay.
Mrs Holland, Guildford, August 2011

The amount of space in the house and grounds enabled the members of my family to enjoy a great week together without ever feeling we were in each others way. There was always somewhere to go if anybody wanted a bit of peace and quiet. I would have no hesitation in booking this property again or recommending it to friends.
Mr Cooper, Hull, April 2011
