Stroll along the long sandy beaches, climb the 199 steps to the famous abbey, explore the cobbled narrow streets or enjoy a boat trip from the harbour. Surrounded by the dramatic North York Moors and pretty coastal villages such as Robin Hood’s Bay and Staithes, this beautiful area has a wealth of attractions, making this Whitby cottage a great base all year round.

Whitby is a great place and I loved it as much as the first time I came last year. The location of the cottage was very good, it was in a relatively quiet street but within short walking distance to whatever you need. The Abbey was only a ten minute walk although the steps took a bit of scaling!
