    • “Fabulous, spacious and homely”

    • “Romy Lou was a great place to stay for our week in Whitby. The accommodation had everything that you would need to keep a family happy. Multiple TVs, Freesat, wifi, xbox, Wii. Plenty of bathrooms and toilets with the ground floor virtually a self contained unit in itself. Quiet location but only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. Very clean and tidy with modern decor. Excellent.”

    • “A fab home from home. Everything you could possibly wish for. Whitby town centre was only about a 10 - 15 walk depending how quick you walk. Lots to do and plenty of places to eat and a lovely walk allong the cinder path ( old railway).”

    • “A great week in Whitby.”

    • “Romy Lou, was easy to find and we were well informed of all the amenities, key safe etc. Everything was clean and in place when we arrived with a friendly welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk. The house is roomy and beautifully equipped and has the provision of a bedroom, sung and toilet downstairs so that older or younger family members can be self sufficient should they want to be. The location is right alongside the estuary with a lovely safe area for scooting or bike riding and is especially good for crabbing. Whitby is a lively, working fishing town with lots of small shops, places to eat or stop for tea or coffee and of course excellent fish and chips. There is a co-operative super market in the town centre, a tour bus and other good bus services. The beaches are a little bit of a climb down or up but sandy and clean once you get to them with a good coast path and gardens, We loved it all and would certainly go back. Perhaps getting to the beach through quite a busy part of town was the part we liked least, but it was different and doable even with quite small children.”
