The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire with its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors. A lovely property, full of character, with attractive decor. It was ideal for three generations of a family ranging from 2 to 70+ - the younger ones loved the secret staircase. The big family kitchen and 2 lounges offered plenty of space. The location was excellent - a quiet square, near shops and with an easy walk down to the harbour or to the beach. Having parking for 3 cars was also a bonus.
