Previous visitors' comments about Swing Bridge View:

Very straightforward to book. The owner met us straight away and was very welcoming, showing us around the property and explaining everything. It was in an amazing location, right on the river front in the centre of Whitby. Large windows with views straight on to the river. Great to just sit and watch the bridge opening and the boats going by. A lovely spacious property, probably one of the nicest we have stayed in, warm and fully equipped. Will definitely be returning!
Mrs Marianski, Derby, January 2013

The property of course is in a prime location in Whitby. It's comfortable and over looking the river. There is plenty to do and see without going out of town. All restaurants we visited were very good, 7 in all. Whitby is close to the Moors and places of interest are easily accessible by car. The owner of the property was most helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her and could be contacted at any time. We paid £35 for one week's parking from Scarborough Tourist Info. This included many long stay car parks around Scarborough. Thank you Sykes Holiday Cottages, for an easy booking system.

The view from living room was amazing, we spent many a happy hour watching the world go by on land and water.
