The former fishing village of Skinningrove sits on the Cleveland Way, and offers visitors a collection of quaint cottages, a selection of shops and a pub, as well as a sandy beach. Ideally placed for visiting attractions such as the Abbey and harbour at Whitby, the village of Staithes, pretty Runswick Bay and the rest of the coast, the village is also a good base for exploring the dramatic scenery of the North York Moors National Park, making it a great location for all the family.

We all really enjoyed our holiday. It was good that we had our own bathrooms! The property was in a good area and there was plenty to see and do. The pool/snooker table under the dining table is an excellent idea.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Power House we hired next door Heritage Grove Cottage with adjoining door. It was spacious and comfortable and worked very well for our large family. Good heating and plenty of hot water. We loved the house and the area, lovely for walking, not far from the beach. We will definitely come again.
