The location was superb and the welcome was lovely. We had a really relaxing break helped by good weather. We have stayed in lots of cottages all over the country and this one rates very highly. Would not hesitate to book again!
Ms Lincoln, Peterborough, February 2013

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It was comfortable, cosy and clean. We particularly loved the log burning stove. The surrounding area was beautiful with great days out to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, etc all within a 15 minute drive. There was also a fabulous pub three strides from the cottage! We had a truly relaxing holiday and would definitely recommend it to others!
Miss Spring, Huddersfield, December 2012

Great views from the kitchen with the morning sun and stunning sunsets from the front. Esk valley is stunningly beautiful and the cottage is well placed to take advantage of it. Comfortable and peaceful!
Mr Eckersley, Todmorden, August 2012

A friendly welcome from the owner who provided a few 'goodies' on our arrival. Country style kitchen was well equipped and the rest of the cottage was cosy and comfortable. Fantastic views all around and plenty of walks for the dog.
