Furnished in keeping with the age of this property, this characterful Ugthorpe cottage is surrounded by stunning scenery but within easy reach of the coastal towns. Enjoy countless walking and cycling opportunities from the doorstep of this cottage in Ugthorpe, then visit the excellent village pub for an evening of good food and real ales! A short drive brings you to the bustling port of Whitby, with its historic harbour, individual shops and long sandy beaches. Why not climb the 199 steps up to the abbey, or take a bracing cliff-top walk on The Cleveland Way? A lovely stroll along the beach brings you to Sandsend, a tiny village with some excellent tea rooms overlooking the sea, whilst a little further north, lie Runswick Bay and Staithes, both well worth exploring. With many pretty inland villages to discover and in close proximity to the market towns of Pickering and Kirkbymoorside, this Ugthorpe cottage provides a good base for a very happy holiday.
