Situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and Cairngorms National Park, Aviemore is an ideal holiday location. You can fish on the River Spey all summer or ski on the Cairngorms and at the Lecht ski centre. With a wide choice of restaurants, bars and hotels in the town, you may find yourself having a "Highland Fling"!

The Property

This spacious detached farmhouse is located close to the ‘Lodge Beat’ of the River Spey with views to the wooded hills of Queens Forest, part of the Cairngorms National Park. This Cairngorm cottage occupies a quiet and private location just 4 miles drive from the lively and pretty village of Aviemore. This Aviemore cottage is located on the Pityoulish Estate which lives up to its Pictish name meaning ‘bright beautiful place’. Guests can take advantage of the fishing on the stunning River Spey and will find it well situated for trekking in the Cairngorms. Ideal for a group who want to spend their days participating in outdoor pursuits, this Aviemore cottage offers spacious accommodation and benefits from having four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two comfortable sitting rooms and a useful drying room. The large farmhouse style kitchen is well equipped and even has a Rayburn range cooker. The front garden is very pretty and secluded with a seating area and fabulous views plus the area is one of great natural beauty throughout the seasons and is rich in diverse plant and animal life. There is a wide choice of activities to do in the Cairngorm National Park and most certainly something for everyone. Aviemore offers fantastic restaurants and lively pubs and the smaller villages close by all have their own charm and character and are well worth a visit. Note: This cottage is on the same site as Refs. 15074 and 15075 and together they accommodate 16 people.

River 2 mins walk, loch 10 mins walk. Note: Fishing permits for fly fishing on River Spey are available on request. Please bring own equipment.
