Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.
This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a ‘smugglers’ haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop and two pubs which serve food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket, restaurants etc as well as offering boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle & Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
A great family cottage, this cosy and comfortable semi-detached Beadnell cottage is less than half a mile away from the dunes and golden sand of the beach at Beadnell Bay. Well decorated and furnished throughout, this Beadnell cottage also has an enclosed garden area, ideal for young children to play safely. Several fabulous links golf courses, and opportunities for watersports and sea fishing are all close by to this Beadnell cottage, as is the vibrant fishing village of Seahouses, while the historic market town of Alnwick, with its magnificent Norman Castle and Gardens is also just a short drive away. The perfect Beadnell cottage base for a relaxing beach holiday or for exploring further afield on Northumberland's magnificent Heritage Coast!

The cottage is well positioned, 5 minutes from a bus route with lots of places to visit by public transport. Two very good pub/restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Four legged friends are welcome on the beach.
