The peaceful Northumberland village of Chatton is situated in the midst of wonderful scenic countryside. Consisting of a cluster of stone built houses surrounding its small village green, the village has a shop including a post office, an art gallery and an excellent pub ‘The Percy Arms’ known for its good food and beer. A short drive will take you to Alnwick Gardens, the Northumberland National Park and some of the most breathtaking coastline, boasting such delights as Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and Lindisfarne Priory and the Farne Islands. An excellent touring base.

A ground floor suite in a delightful, semi attached stone built cottage, situated in the beautiful scattered hamlet of Hetton, close to the rural outskirts of Chatton, 13 miles from Alnwick and 14 miles from Berwick. Lovingly restored to a particularly high standard, this fabulous self contained open plan accommodation boasts warming underfloor heating and open country views from the pretty garden, ideal for dining alfresco. Northumberland's Heritage Coast is just a short drive away, whilst the castles at both Bamburgh and Alnwick are well worth a visit! With St. Cuthbert’s Walk, the Cheviot Hills, Holy Island and the Farne Islands all within easy reach, this superb base is ideal for exploring all Northumbria has to offer!
