Previous visitors' comments about The Forge:

The woodburner made the cottage very cosy and the sofas and cushions were very comfortable.
Mrs Thompson, Consett, January 2012

A particularly lovely cottage in a good setting for getting to and from Alnwick. Child friendly particularly the playstation which was a big hit. Very clean and comfortable. Would book again for future visits.
Miss McGowan, Edinburgh, February 2011

The property was excellent for 4. It had all the facilities that we would want and was just the right size. The area is stupendous, excellent for an active holiday exploring beaches, castles, nature (hills, lakes, forests) and of course Hadrians Wall. There is more to do than you can fit into a holiday. Lots of local pubs to eat in - the Tankerville Arms in nearby Eglington was an excellent pub with excellent food.
Mr Jacobi, London, October 2010

A great location and cottage, the local area was outstanding. The local pub was welcoming with good food. A great base to use to explore Northumberland and its sights.
