Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore.

Alnmouth 2 miles. A lovely cottage situated in a delightful rural location on a working farm, just 2 miles from the picturesque coastal village of Alnmouth. Alnmouth offers a good range of amenities and some of Northumberland’s best beaches are within easy reach. Fully modernised, the cottage offers very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped accommodation of a high standard. French windows open on to the rear shared lawned area which is ideal for ball games. A super base for enjoying Northumberland’s beautiful coastline. Please note: Dorothy’s Cottage adjoins Brian’s Cottage Ref. 208 and Stephen’s Cottage Ref. 787 and together they can accommodate up to 18 people.
