Location: Beadnell

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop and two pubs which serve food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket, restaurants etc as well as offering boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle & Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.

This was a birthday weekend for my husband and we had invited some friends as a surprise. This was a fabulous location, 2 mins walk from beach. Loved everything about it. The house was brilliant and very cosy which was a bonus as it was freeing outside.
Mrs Borthwick, Hawick, November 2012

Beadnell is a lovely place to spend a relaxing holiday, the house is comfortable and close to the beach which is excellent for walking the dogs. There are lots of lovely beaches in the area. I can't wait to come back next year.
Mrs Spink, Rugeley, September 2012

Nice big house and dog proof garden which was great for our two medium sized dogs. Close to beautiful Beadnell beach and Caster Arms hotel which did good food and allowed dogs into the pub.
Mr Davies, Sale, September 2012

The enclosed garden and the easy access to the beach were great - as was the house itself.
Mr Townsend, Llangollen, June 2012

The location for the two beaches was fantastic. This was a trip with children and grandparents and the property was well equipped and nicely proportioned to ensure that all of us had sufficient space to have an enjoyable holiday.
