    Mrs Tallon, Kendal, July 2015

    • “A well looked after, clean and comfortable cottage, with stunning views over the Cheviot hills. Our first visit to Cheviot View and definitely not our last, already planning another visit later this year, excellent.”

    Mrs Scholes, Normanton, May 2015

    • “The view from the garden was lovely, looking onto a field with horses, sheep, the sand dunes at Beadnell and Dunstanburgh Castle at Craster in the distance. It was lovely to have your own parking space and the cottage was so homely, comfortable and warm. The kitchen was excellent, had everything you could possibly want. The bedrooms were excellent, with plenty of hanging space and draws, and you could just sink into the bed at night it was so comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and the conservatory was a lovely bonus, we sat in it at night watching the bats flying around with a glass of wine.”

    Mrs Hill, Washington, May 2015

    • “The house was lovely, with high quality bedding and furnishings. The village is beautiful with an amazing beach and Coast. The two village pubs are nice, both had lovely food and the location was perfect for visiting the surrounding area and tourist spots. We would definitely go back. We were also blessed with the best of the Easter holiday weather! We had a great break.”

About the location

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, and two pubs serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
