There are also excellent golfing opportunities, with 8 golf courses within 20 miles of Lowick. Northumberland’s beautiful coastline, Holy Island, the Cheviots and the fascinating border town of Berwick, are all only a short drive away. A superb base for exploring all the region has to offer.

Just 6 miles from the causeway to Lindisfarne and 10 miles from the Cheviot foothills, this cottage is ideally placed for exploring both the dramatic Heritage coastline and the lovely landscapes of this beautiful border county. With Berwick 15 minutes drive north and Alnwick 30 minutes drive south, Bowsden is an excellent location for visiting the historic Norman and Elizabethan towns of Northumberland.
