Previous visitors' comments about Granary Cottage:
Great property at a very reasonable price. Friendliness of the owner when we contacted them prior to the holiday. We particularly enjoyed exploring a part of the country that we had not visited before and would definitely return.

The location is excellent for touring Northumbria. Beautiful countryside with lots of historic sites. The village is quiet and the corner shop has a cafe as well - inexpensive and with a great selection.

A really nice cottage with excellent cooking facilities. This was important as we ate in a lot. The owner was particularly helpful in providing us with local information that we requested.
