The property

A delightful, semi-detached stone-built cottage, centrally located in Chatton village.

This Chatton cottage is comfortably furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, and a cosy sitting room with open fire.

To the first floor in this Chatton cottage, two pretty bedrooms with Velux windows and sloping ceilings are a welcome relief after a hard day's sightseeing.

The historic village of Bamburgh is just a short drive away as are the many other must-see castles in the area.

Along with endless golden beaches and the nearby Cheviot Hills, Northumberland is the perfect place for walking, cycling or a round or two of golf on one of the many links courses.

Just off the village green, and within walking distance of a pub with restaurant, this Chatton cottage makes a great base for touring this delightful area.

The peaceful Northumberland village of Chatton is situated in the midst of wonderful scenic countryside. Consisting of a cluster of stone built houses surrounding its small village green, the village has a shop including a Post Office, an art gallery and an excellent pub ‘The Percy Arms' known for its good food and beer. A short drive will take you to Alnwick Gardens, the Northumberland National Park and some of the most breathtaking coastline, boasting such delights as Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and Lindisfarne Priory and the Farne Islands. An excellent touring base.
