  • "Lovely, well appointed cottage in an absolutely stunning peaceful location."

So much to do in the area, we hope to come back to explore more!

  • "Delightful stay in a very cosy cottage."

All the equipment you would need. A large secure garden which young grandson enjoyed playing football in and elderly dog enjoyed pottering around in. A very peaceful location but only about 5 miles from Holy Island, Bamburgh etc. Would def recommend.

  • "This cottage just oozes quality."

It has a high standard of furniture and decor, the woodburner produces exceptional heat. The owner is friendly and the cottage feels homely as it is very well equipped and in a nice quiet area. The garden was well looked after and was great for our wee dog as it was all secured. Handy for Wooler, Seahouses and Berwick on tweed.

  • "We had a fantastic week here in April, Set in the stunning countryside of Lowick."

real hide away just what we needed after two years working flat out during Covid. There's everything you could ever need in the cottage and the beds and bedding is top quality and so comfy. The owner made our Easter morning, with a visit with a freshly born Lamb to say hello too. We originally booked this break for 2020 but it had to be moved .. It was definitely worth the wait and won't be our last stay.

Thank you so glad you enjoyed your stay Property Owner

Ideally situated to explore Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Edinburgh approx 80 mins away for the more adventurous. Property listing has contradictory information re availability of WiFi. Pleased to confirm WiFi is available and worked well throughout the week. Welcome pack of wine & chocs well received. Enjoyed our time here and would stay again if in the area.

  • "A very cosy cottage within easy access of many attractions."

The garden surrounds the cottage and is enclosed, our border collie enjoyed many sniffs! The log burner was very welcome after a day of walking, we all enjoyed relaxing in front of that. There are fields surrounding the cottage, and lots of wildlife to see. The farm is directly opposite the cottage, but we didn't hear any noise from it at all.

  • "A perfect spot for a relaxing holiday in beautiful countryside."

The east coast is in sight from the cottage, so it is only a car ride from lovely beaches, and time should be spent in the neighbouring villages whose history is fascinating. A heavy horse sanctuary and a wild cattle reserve should interest animal lovers and, even nearer to the cottage, wildlife abounds in the farmland which encircles the house. The owner is on hand but unobtrusive, and the home she has created for her visitors lacks nothing. It is beautifully furnished, very tastefully decorated and it is warm and cosy (for late-summer visitors like us). This whole experience has left us with happy memories, which will certainly last .... until our next visit!
