    • “Beautiful Coach House, excellent for a family, not so much for a couple, as to much waisted beautiful space. Easy access to local villages, try Wooler (had the best steak EVER from Johnsons butchers) The coach house has charm and warmth and everything anyone would need. With an amazing welcome pack of bacon, eggs, milk, bread, butter and a bottle of wine. The wood burner is amazing. Just a a beautiful place with amazing surroundings.”

    • “We had a super week in Lowick, really convenient for the local tourist attractions. The cottage is superbly decorated and furnished, and was really comfy. It was great to have two bathrooms and the welcome pack was much appreciated. The BBQ got some use as well as the Black Bull Inn over the road! I would recommend this cottage to anyone.”

    • “The Coach House is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in it was very comfortable clean and well equiped. The owner welcomed us with a fantastic welcome basket which we were very grateful for because our Tesco online delivery with all our provisions for the week did not turn up until the following afternoon. We have visited northumbria before but still found lots to do.”

The location was quiet and tranquil, perfect to get away from it all, but well situated to visit all the tourist places. The owners made sure we were settled in but then left us alone.”

    • “A lovely, comfortable house with plenty of space, The Coach House has been beautifully and thoughtfully designed to cater for 6 people - and welcomes dogs too. It feels like a home from home, with a fabulously equipped kitchen and cosy living room. The extra sitting room was really useful too. The two upstairs bedrooms were full of character, with plenty of storage, and beautifully decorated, and the downstairs bedroom had an ensuite bathroom, which we enjoyed. The owner left a lovely welcome pack, which we really appreciated. We loved the cottage and its well equipped garden. The Coach House is perfectly situated on the outskirts of a quiet village, just a few minutes from the coast and the National Park inland. I really hope to stay there again.”

    • “An excellent cottage. We loved the character of the cottage mixed with an excellent standard of facilities; lovley bathrooms and kitchen. The big open plan space made it ideal for a family holiday. Very reasonably priced for the standard of accomodation. Would recommend to anyone!”

    • “One to remember!!”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “The Coach House was definitely one of the best cottages we have stayed in, and we have stayed in quite a few over the years. There is very little the owners haven't thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible and a much appreciated welcome pack was there on our arrival. We loved the garden room and during the summer months it would compliment the garden patio wonderfully. Kitchen excellent with everything you need (non-stick frying pan would be good though) along with comfy beds for a good nights sleep. The on-suite bedroom on the ground floor was lovely with a great walk in shower and made my wife and I feel we were staying in a bungalow. Peaceful village location, which had a great community spirit (haloween witches decorating the main street during our stay). Couple of minor gripes...didn't care much for the dull throws on lounge sofas and a wee bit of painting needs to be done on woodwork above the upstairs bath in particular. All in all...a lovely place for a great holiday.”
