Beautiful surroundings and so much to see & do in the area. Will definitely be back.

  • "The lodge was beautiful and the area was very peaceful with loads of wildlife."

We enjoyed walks round the area, especially to the village pub, which does lovely food. It was a great base to explore Northumberland. Only feedback was that the lodge could have done with blackout blinds as the sun woke us up, but who can complain at the sun!

  • "Lovely lodge, clean on arrival, beds really comfy."

Dog friendly which was great for us. Not much to do whilst on the site but a short drive to Kielder Water was great fun. Lovely walks and bike hire. Had a meal at the coach house (on site) which was beautiful and also at the William De Percy (short walk away) which was also lovely.

  • "Lovely location Lake could be a bit cleaner with more benches."

That just one small contrition. The lodge was facilitated with every we could wish for. A proper home from home. From lovely clean beds made for us to washing up liquid dishwasher pods and loo rolls provided. Nipping clean. Friendly hot tub guy coming around every morn to put solution in tub. We had one night of clear sky. Felt like we could touch the stars. Enjoyed our country walks where we saw a dear and red squirrel. Ordered and picked up meals from the Coach House. A little pricey but delicious. Hence why we ordered again. Can’t wait to go back. Loved it. A family of five with a dog. A lovely chilled relaxing holiday at Otterburn

  • "Lovely property in a great location - everything we needed."

A shame all the walking paths on the site were closed but appreciate that this is out of owners control - just that this is one of the reasons we chose the lodge. Would stay here again.

We were all so impressed with how clean and well kept the lodge is, such a nice touch that we were left a bottle of Prosecco and some chocolate biscuits too, these were much appreciated. The hot tub is just fabulous, very easy to use and so relaxing - always perfect temp too! There is some lovely walks round about. The lodge overall was beautiful with such comfort. It is fairly conveniently situated for exploring north Northumberland and we enjoyed trips to Alnwick Gardens, Bamburgh Castle and Kielder Water. The Bellingham Heritage Centre is well worth a visit.

  • "Lodge was very comfortable and well appointed."

I loved the hive heating system which came on automatically when the temperature dropped (handy for first thing on a morning for a September holiday!) and was easy to boost during the day to take chill off when necessary. Could have done with somewhere to store muddy boots and wet coats (although we were lucky with the weather, so not such a problem for us). The decking area and hot tub were well maintained (hot tub was serviced every morning) and perfect to relax in after a day out exploring in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Would certainly recommend for a peaceful get away break

Hot tub was great. Lodge itself, much more spacious than I’d thought. Owners were so thoughtful and welcoming. Nice little touches. Good selection of places to eat. Our favourite William de Percy,s Creperie was walkable. Weather was amazing too! Used the tennis courts. Would definitely go back to the Lodge. Thanks again:)
