Thoroughly enjoyed our week even though the weather was awful. This house is superbly furnished to a high degree. Very well stocked kitchen with every possible utensil. Similarly well stocked with games, books and tourist information literature. House is well placed for visiting many places of interest especially the lovely beach at Embleton. All in all, a brilliant week.

Mr Shaw, Huddersfield, March 2014

Beautiful standard of accommodation; a real home from home. Cottage had everything you could need and more. So cosy, and a perfect way to see in the New Year.

Mrs Armstrong, Gateshead, December 2013

We had a brilliant weekend at the cottage. I do not think the picture on Sykes cottages website do the house justice. There was plenty room for 9 people, and plenty of activities available. A great Christmas break, we will be back!

Miss Slaughter, Sunderland, December 2013

Upon arriving at the property we were not disappointed. The property felt like home away from home. Plenty of room for all the family. Lovely Countryside and Coast line.

Mrs Murray, Brampton, June 2013
