Teversal is a wonderful location for Harwick Hall, or to walk and explore the Five Pits Trail or Teversal Trails.
A little further away are the delights of the Peak District, including Chatworth House and the town of Matlock, as well as some stunning countryside and in Nottinghamshire, Sherwood Forest to go on a Robin Hood hunt!

Teversal is a small village in Nottinghamshire, with its buildings centred around the village church, and home to Teversal Manor, said to be the inspiration behind the home of the fictional Lady Chatterley. The Teversal Trails Visitor’s Centre offers great access to Teversal and Pleasley Trails Network, perfect for enjoying a variety of walks and cycle routes. Teversal is close to the Derbyshire border, and is ideally placed for visiting Hardwick Hall, now managed by the National Trust. Sherwood Forest and Nottingham Castle can both be enjoyed, as can the scenery of the Peak District, and the country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.
