Rosehill is a small North Shropshire village 3 miles from the attractive town of Market Drayton, and stands beside both the River Tern and the Shropshire Union Canal. Nearby Market Drayton is renowned for hosting one of the liveliest weekly markets you will find, and the town centre boasts many delightful 16th and 17th century half-timbered buildings including a variety of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. Only 11 miles away from Rosehill is Whitchurch, a delightful town internationally renowned for its clock production dating back to the 1650s, and home to many splendid buildings, from medieval, Tudor and Georgian times, all dominated by St. Alkmund's Church. Close by is Ellesmere, with its beautiful meres (lakes), a variety of National Trust mansions and gardens including Attingham, Hodnant Hall, Hawkstone Park and Tatton Park, the wonderful shops and zoo at Chester, Wroxeter Roman City, the World Heritage Site Ironbridge Gorge with its famous museums, and the lovely medieval towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow.

Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Hotel/restaurant 5 mins walk. Fish and chip restaurant 10 mins walk. Note: The lake is fenced, but children inside the boundary fence must be supervised.
