A door then leads through to a sitting room with a dining area, which provides a welcoming and relaxing area to sit in comfort after enjoying a long walk along the Sandstone Trail, on which the cottage is situated, the North Cheshire Way or the nearby Weaver Way.
The bedroom offers a comfy double bed with an en-suite shower, whilst outside there is a fully-enclosed, small private courtyard set into the sandstone hillside, providing a secluded area to barbecue and socialise into the evening.
If you want a night off from cooking, then a five-minute walk brings you to a delightful pub, opposite the 12th century St Laurence’s church, where you can enjoy sumptuous home-cooked food, or stroll into the centre of Frodsham to sample the delights of one of the many restaurants and pubs on offer.
Just a 20 minute drive away is the popular Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village and should you fancy leaving the car behind for the day, Frodsham Railway station has links to Chester, Manchester and North Wales.

The market town of Frodsham in Cheshire is located at the foot of Overton Hill, overlooking the River Mersey estuary, just 11 miles from the city centre of Chester. The town, which was mentioned in the Domesday Book, has a thriving centre which enjoys a weekly market on the high street, along with numerous specialist shops, popular pubs and wine bars. Just outside the Bears Paw pub in the centre of Frodsham marks the start of the Sandstone Trail, which stretches for 34 miles past Delamere Forest and on into Whitchurch, in Shropshire. The River Weaver offers towpath walks, which allow you to visit Dutton Locks, plus the famous Anderton Boat Lift further on. For the more enthusiastic walker, the North Cheshire Way stretches for 70 miles from the Wirral to the Peak District. The city of Chester, which has been described as 'the jewel of the North West of England' is within driving distance and offers a number of historic attractions, such as the Roman walls, Chester Cathedral, medieval churches and the famous Chester Rows, where you will find lovely shops and tea rooms. Also in the city are the River Dee, the racecourse and Grosvenor Park, whilst close by is a popular zoo.
