A charming, brick-built cottage adjoining the owner's Victorian farmhouse in the rural hamlet of Poolhead, just 3 miles from the attractive market town of Wem. Standing in the grounds of a 30 acre smallholding, this delightful accommodation offers two sitting rooms, one of which boasts a sunny aspect, and access to the lovely garden via French windows. The surrounding, rolling farmland provides ample opportunity for a variety of walks, whilst nearby Wem and Ellesmere with its nine lakes are both well worth a visit! Explore Whittington Castle or the wonderful towns of Shrewsbury, Church Stretton or Ludlow. A great base at any time of year!

The property was situated brilliantly - close enough to the owners when necessary, but secluded and private enough to allow a relaxing time. The local area has a variety of National Trust and private sites to visit without long journey times.
