The market town of Ashbourne is just 5 miles away and has much to offer with its fine Georgian buildings, quaint cobbled streets, restaurants, inns and antique centres, attracting visitors from miles around. For those with an appetite for outdoor pursuits, Carsington Water, the Dove and Manifold Valleys and Chatsworth are all close by. There are excellent walking opportunities from the doorstep and the attractions of the Peak District, the scenic Dove and Manifold valleys and Chatsworth are all within easy reach.
