The county town of Matlock, famous for its warm springs, offers a host of fine eateries, good shops and a fascinating museum, whilst at the heart of the town, Leys Hall Park provides a lovely setting for recreational activities such as bowls, tennis and boating. Enjoy a thrilling day at Gulliver's Kingdom with its owl maze, water gardens, nature trails, exhilarating rides and cable car trips over the magnificent Matlock Gorge. Follow the High Peak Cycle Trail, or visit the lovely market town of Bakewell or the elegant Chatsworth House. Plenty to see and do for all the family at this wonderful location.

The Property

A delightful detached single storey cottage with wonderful countryside views towards Ogston Reservoir, in a lovely position in the rural hamlet of Handley. This quality Peak District cottage offers warm and welcoming accommodation with a spacious lounge with beamed ceiling, feature fireplace and picture window. There are also two cosy bedrooms and a well established garden with views over the countryside. The area is a walker’s paradise and ideal for bird and badger watching. With numerous cycle paths, villages, historic houses and spectacular gardens to discover, this is an ideal base for enjoying all the Peak District has on offer.
