Previous visitors' comments about Four Winds:
I thought the star grade was wrong as I thought it deserved more. We all thought the house was perfect from position, comfort, quietness and the lady who looks after the house was also very friendly and helpful with her advice on places to visit. All in all a perfect holiday, even the weather was quite good.
Mr Matthews, Hull, September 2011
The house was near enough to Bakewell to be able to walk into town but was far enough out to be quiet and peaceful - even the cows in the field next door were quiet! The only "downside" was the steep hill back from town! Derbyshire is a beautiful county and the cottage was well situated to visit many places of interest.
Mrs Nurse, King's Lynn, August 2011
The cottage was lovely, it had everything that you needed and it was well situated for all that the Dales had to offer. We had some wonderful days out and had good meals in the local pubs in the evenings.
Mr Watkins, Burgess Hill, July 2011
The house was detached and privately situated in a quiet area, yet within walking distance of Bakewell. It was good to walk along the flat trails - very important as my husband is registered blind.
