There are six bedrooms (three of which have an en-suite) with two of the bedrooms being located in an annexe to the cottage. Outside this Peak District cottage is a pretty patio and, as it is also close to the mill pond, complete with wheel, this is a wonderful spot for sitting and taking in the beauty of the surrounding area, whilst enjoying a pre-dinner drink. Guests have access to two acres of land and the cottage is adjacent to a footpath that joins the High Peak and Tissington Trail walks, offering good walking and cycling opportunities, whilst the village of Tissington itself is a real step back in time, complete with Tissington Hall. There are numerous walks almost from the door of this Peak District cottage, with Dovedale just a short drive away, not to mention the wealth of market towns, pretty villages, historic houses and spectacular scenery all within easy reach. Bradbourne Mill is an attractive collection of buildings tucked just in front of the popular Tissington Trail cycle route, half a mile from Bradbourne village and close to Ashbourne. Bradbourne village itself stands high on a ridge between the valleys of Bradbourne Brook and Havenhill. Just a few miles up the road, the famous Peaks village of Tissington makes a wonderful afternoon out; famous for its well dressings, Tissington invites everyone to come along and soak up the atmosphere of this well managed estate village with its duckpond, cottages, church, tearooms and impressive old hall. The market town of Ashbourne has all the amenities you may require, and as well as the many varied walks, climbing opportunities and cycle routes in the area, this is also an ideal base for visiting Alton Towers, impressive Chatsworth House, or enjoying the watersports at Carsington Water.
