This is a beautiful, all ground floor detached barn conversion, near the village of Bradbourne in the heart of the wonderful Derbyshire Peak District.
Wonderful throughout, providing spacious accommodation, this cottage is perfect for larger families or groups of friends wanting to spend that quality time together in a stunning location.
All ground floor, and surrounded by countryside, the cottage benefits from a lovely kitchen/diner and a very spacious sitting room with beams and a vaulted ceiling, ideal for relaxing in after a busy day of walking or discovering the delights of the area.
There are four bedrooms in the main barn (one with en-suite) and two further en-suite double bedrooms located in the detached annexe to the cottage.
The bedrooms in the annexe offer walk-in wardrobes and are named The Granary and The Miller's Rest.
These rooms can be used as individual private rooms with their own key entrance or they can be interlinked by an internal door.
The Miller's Rest room offers an additional feature of a small interconnecting kitchenette complete with fridge, microwave, kettle, sink and storage cupboards.
Outside is a pretty patio and, as it is also close to the mill pond, complete with wheel, this is a wonderful spot for sitting and taking in the beauty of the surrounding area, whilst enjoying a pre-dinner drink.
The cottage is adjacent to a footpath that joins the High Peak and Tissington Trail walks, offering good walking and cycling opportunities, whilst the village of Tissington itself is a real step back in time, complete with Tissington Hall.
There are numerous walks almost from the door, with Dovedale just a short drive away, not to mention the wealth of market towns, pretty villages, historic houses and spectacular scenery all within easy reach.
This wonderfully spacious cottage is just the spot to enjoy the Peak District, whatever the time of year.
