The charming Peak village of Longnor is situated in beautiful countryside on the Staffordshire Moorlands, with the River Dove to the east and the River Manifold to the west, making an excellent touring centre. The market square is cobbled and a scale of market charges is still posted on a board outside the market hall. Full oil fired central heating throughout with additional heating from woodburning stove in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, colour TV, DVD, CD player/cassette/radio etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample roadside parking available. Lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. One well behaved dog welcome at a charge of £10 by prior arrangement. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 min walk.

The cottage was cosy and in an excellent location for walking, cycling and visiting. The village itself had superb facilities, with 2 tea rooms, 3 pubs, a chip shop, and 2 well stocked newsagents. All the villagers were very friendly and helpful. The cottage had more than everything required for a couple. The village's adventure playground was perfect for wearing out an over 'sugared' toddler.

The location was excellent, situated in a delightful village with a well stocked shop, cafe, three pubs and an excellent fish & chip shop. Good local walks and within easy reach of Buxton, Leek and the High Peaks. The cottage was ideal with everything you could want for a relaxing break. Owners and gardener were very friendly.
