A lovely cottage that was warm and snug with lashings of hot water! Wonderful views. Great walks on the doorstep. This was a get away from it all walking weekend for my partners 60th and it ticked all the boxes.

A great cottage to use as a base for exploring the Peak District. A well equipped and well situated accommodation. We would recommend and also rebook it ourselves.
Mrs Whitford, South Ockendon, August 2011

This cottage was an excellent base for touring and walking in Derbyshire. Many walks from the cottage itself. The owners and family where very friendly and could not do enough to make are stay enjoyable. The Wanted Pub in the village was friendly and served excellent food and plenty of it. I would not hesitate in booking this cottage again. It was warm, cosy and full of original features. The star rating given should be upgraded.
