The little kind gifts that the owners had waiting for us on arrival, milk, tea, juice etc were a nice thought. The accommodation was of a very high standard. The location was very peaceful with lovely views over the country side. Plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the lovely view while you eat your meal.
Buxton 6 miles; Bakewell 9 miles.
The charming Peak village of Longnor is situated in beautiful countryside on the Staffordshire Moorlands, with the River Dove to the east and the River Manifold to the west, making an excellent touring centre. Previous visitors' comments about Manifold View:
This cottage was first class in all areas. The views and tranquil surroundings were the best I could have asked for. For my son, who has autism; this was the first stress free holiday we have been on, as the cottage was clean to his standards, we were situated away from civilisation which he needs and there was plenty of land around us for him to explore. I will definitely book with Sykes again.

This was the best accommodation we have ever stayed in with a huge garden and patio's front and rear; the owners were friendly and helpful and catered to all our needs - we definitely hope to return next year!!

Excellent well-equipped cottage. Excellent for our young daughter as cot, highchair, stairgate and children's books provided. Beautiful location.
