The charming Peak village of Longnor is situated in beautiful countryside on the Staffordshire Moorlands, with the River Dove to the east and the River Manifold to the west, making an excellent touring centre. The village boasts several shops, a Post Office, tea shop, great craft centre and a beautiful church. The market square is cobbled and a scale of market charges is still posted on a board outside the market hall. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the Spa town of Buxton, the attractive market town of Bakewell and Alton Towers theme park are all within easy reach.

This stone built property is set over one level and adjoins the owner’s farmhouse. Offering comfortable and welcoming accommodation, this cosy cottage features a lovely sitting room with pine flooring and a woodburner, a pretty bedroom and a courtyard with furniture - perfect for enjoying the country views and the small stream running past the property. The location is ideal for walking and enjoying the great outdoors, not forgetting the many delights of the Peak District including country houses, gardens, theme parks and fantastic scenery. A wonderful romantic hideaway.

All ground floor. One double bedroom. Shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. Small fitted kitchen area, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove.
