Previous visitors' comments about Queens Cottage:
We liked the location very much. The cottage was amply furnished and the heating worked well and kept us warm despite our staying there in December.
The local people were friendly and welcoming. Food in the pub opposite was very good. The folk singers who visit the pub every Thursday gave us a carol concert to remember.
Mr Harkus, London, December 2011
We found the cottage to be warm and comfortable, well located, and very well equipped. We had a relaxing time, and the comfort of the cottage certainly helped us to enjoy it. If this is the usual standard, we would certainly recommend Sykes.
Ms Collisson, Maidenhead, October 2011
Location very good for a Peak District walking tour. Good value for money and very clean. The village has lots of character, and the pub opposite serves good food and excellent beer.
