The property

Sycamore Lodge is a charming retreat situated within the National Forest Centre's expansive 154-acre site in Rosliston, Derbyshire.

Perfect for families or groups of friends, it has wheelchair accessibility, a barbecue and access to a host of activities, from falconry displays to scenic walks and lake fishing in the forest.

Upon entering this single-storey abode, you will be greeted by a spacious open-plan living area, where you can unwind and sit back after a day of exploring.

With two sofas on offer, pick your seat to take in the lovely surroundings as you flick through the Freeview channels to find something entertaining to watch.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delightful meals, it has an electric oven and electric hob to assist with the cooking.

With dining seating for eight people available, gather everyone around to share some stories from time gone by whilst you eat.

When it's time to retire for the night, choose from one of the three well-appointed bedrooms.

The super-king-size room offers a touch of elegance, while the twin room is perfect for friends or siblings.

Rosliston is a quaint village settled in the countryside of Derbyshire. The village offers a local pub, The Bulls Head, a chip shop, as well as a convenience store for all of your holiday essentials. More amenities can be found at Swadlincote, whilst local attractions include taking a boat out on or going for a ride along the Barton Marina, tranquil walks at Stapenhill Gardens and Rosliston Forestry Centre, and guests can also try out a game or two at Branston Golf & Country Club. Twycross Zoo is an ideal day out for animal lovers, and guests can enjoy walks and birdwatching at the wonderful Cannock Chase.
