  • "Absolutely stunning holiday cottage, everything is actually better than it appears on the website."

Myself and the family cant say enough about what a great break we had and to cap it all Kate and James are the friendliest of hosts . A big thank you from us all

Everything is thought of and the place itself is stunning. It was clean, comfortable, warm! You can tell so much thought has gone into everything. The views are amazing, especially whilst sat in the gorgeous hot tub! Debs looked after us and I can’t thank her enough for all her help! Me and my friends had a lovely relaxing stay and I will definitely book again and recommend! Thank you so much!

  • "Fabulous location and very comfortable, cosy accommodation."

Plenty of cutlery and kitchen equipment. Lots of ‘extras’ for a varied experience… outside barbecue, fire pit, dining cabin, jacuzzi. We loved feeding the pigs. The dog enjoyed the safety of the garden and exercise field. We could have done with extra towels and slip on shoes for jacuzzi as well as the dressing gowns provided. The dishwasher was not performing efficiently. Instructions to use the oven and cooker needed.

The various living spaces meant we were never on top of one another, and the views and the animals created a delightful environment which the whole family enjoyed. The fire-pit and hot-tub were lovely indulgences which made staying there a real luxury and a complete joy. The area is gorgeous too - beauty and adventure in equal measure

The property was lovely, spacious and attending as a family of 6 and a dog there was more than enough room to make our stay comfortable. Kay was so attentive and we really loved and appreciated a great introduction. The little extras made the trip. A great base for visits to the beautiful Holnfirth and also lots of walking on offer. Even though we went in October the garden pod allowed us to still eat out under the stars in the cooler evenings Overall we loved it and would definitely return without doubt

  • "We had a lovely stay at Long Ing Farm."

The cottage has everything you could possible need and more. The only difficulty we experienced was the depth of the steps leading onto the garden. These were difficult for our elderly family members. Shallow steps and a hand rail would make this easier for elderly residents or people with mobility issues. Deb was lovely, helpful and friendly. We found many nice walks with our dog. The hot tub was fabulous to relax in. I would recommend the cottage to future guests, especially if you love the peace, quiet and stunning views.

We have stayed in a large number of cottages across the country and this is by and far the best experience we have had! I use the term experience because that is what you get with Long Ing farm. Kay is an incredible host; from the Easter Hamper to the incredible farm tour, everything was excellent. We had loads planned for the weekend but ended up scrapping plans to stay in and around the cottage and Hade Edge…because there was so much to do! We are a family of five, three children aged 5-10 and visited with my in-laws. There is something for everyone…my highlight…the slow roast lamb I cooked in the AGA

This is more like a second home than a holiday home. Kay has ensured that everything is provided! The house is wonderfully spacious, superbly maintained and spotlessly clean. We have to make special mention of the mattresses - most comfortable holiday beds we’ve ever experienced! The view from the windows and especially the hot tub are stunning. We had a lovely walk around the farm, along the stream, past the sheep and friendly horse. It was lambing season and we were able to get up close to the lambs on our farm tour with Kay, and met Barbara and Betty, the friendly piggies. Just make sure to take your wellies - it is a farm after all! We highly recommend a stay at Long Inn Farm and hope to return.

She lives on the farm and is on hand for anything but not intrusive in any way. On the Sunday morning Kay took us around the farm and the grandchildren fed the animals and picked their own eggs. Good walking areas around. The hot tub was a great bonus. Host was available as required and very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms were a tad on small side but otherwise everything needed in the house was there. Aga and fire would have been great to use in winter (not required on the week we were there due to warm weather)! Close to the house of the host and with quite a bit of work going on at their house, there was occasional disturbance with vans/workmen plus dustbinmen/postmen/deliveries coming down the single track at times that aren't necessarily convenient whilst on holiday! The bedrooms were both roomy and well furnished, the en-suites were fine. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped in every way. The lounge also suited us all well - again we were all very comfortable. We had one of our best Christmas Lunches ever in the conservatory.
