    Mr Grundy, Birkenhead, October 2015

    • “We did enjoy the quiet location and easy transport to the areas local attractions. The owner was very friendly and helpful and very approachable. The house was a very good size for our family and is well laid out with all the necessary amenities, and plenty of indoor play space. Being able to suit ourselves and do our own thing especially with little ones was easy to do here - a home from home.”

    Mrs Pendelbury, Bolton, August 2014

    • “The location was excellent - perfectly situated between town links and peaceful countryside. There were plenty of towels to go around which is always a pleasant surprise. The availability of a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and a washing line is handy. The décor of the whole house was lovely and welcoming, and the little garden at the back was just right to sit in.”

About the location

Alton Towers 5 miles.

In the heart of Staffordshire, the pretty market town of Cheadle is situated just outside of the Peak District National Park and is surrounded by lovely countryside. The town has a charming cobbled market place and is dominated by the historic St Giles Catholic Church, a beautiful example the work of A.W.N. Pugin. With some lovely little cottages and a pretty main street, Cheadle is an interesting little town to wander and discover independent shops and tea shops, not to mention some wonderful Victorian architecture. Families will be pleased to know Alton Towers is just 5 minutes' drive away, while a little further away is the Churnet Valley Railway, some magnificent walks and cycle tracks, and the market towns of Leek and Ashbourne. With the whole of the Peak District so easy to explore, Cheadle makes an ideal year-round base.
