Guest Reviews

    • “Callow Cottage is a lovely cottage in a wonderfully peaceful village. Cosy and with the most amazing views. The cottage has all you need for a great stay in beautiful surroundings. The kids could run and play up the hill behind the cottage without us worrying. Breakfast in the conservatory is a real joy.”

    • “We loved Callow Cottage, it was a real home away from home. It was cosy, warm, clean and had everything we needed. The wood burning stove was fab. The surrounding area was beautiful and the village pub was lovely and cosy. The owner at Callow Cottage was warm and friendly and was very helpful when we needed help. We would definitely use again and recommend to family and friends.”

    • “A perfect size of cottage for us - comfortable without being plush. Best of all we were able to open the back gate and let the boys play on the hillside in sight of the house. I spent some of my childhood near by and we visited familiar, beautiful places, ate cream teas then came home to our cosy cottage!”

    Ms Pirie, Hove, August 2014

    • “A lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. Compact but has everything you need. Lovely garden - backing directly onto fields so loads of space for kids to play. Beautiful views. Love the wood burner and really decent wifi - kept the kids happy! Really convenient for Alton Towers. Local pub 5 minutes walk and serves good food. Our second Easter spent here and loved it. Would highly recommend for a quiet relaxed get away.”
