Previous visitors' comments about Shalcroft:
Location was excellent near to shops and easy access to attractions in the Peak District. Highlight was 'Le Mistral' an excellent restaurant just round the corner.

The town was lovely and the cottage gorgeous and comfortable. It was very central for the Peak District and walk able to pubs and restaurants without being too busy.
Mrs Carpenter, Bishop's Stortford, August 2012
I booked the cottage on behalf of my sister and family. When immediately entering the cottage, we were really impressed with the calm and relaxed feel the cottage had, the location and the information available regarding local attractions, restaurants and places of interest. Also the little touches (biscuits, little notes and historical information on the cottage) all added to the ambience and experience. As a frequent visitor to Le Mistral, I was able to take my sister, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Very warm cottage, comfortable and clean. Lovely area of interest to walk in and good shops and restaurants in village.
