The owners were really friendly and helpful but also unobstrusive. There was a lovely welcome tray when we arrived. Cottage is snug with a peaceful atmosphere and the location and view fantastic. Really peaceful, friendly place to stay with plenty to see and do all around. Would definitely return and have already recommended it.

Ms Biran, Holmfirth, December 2013

The situation really makes this property special. In the centre of the little bay, it overlooks the quaint and well used fishing and diving harbour, with views out over the sea to St Abbs Head nature reserve. The excellent addition of a balcony, provides a magnificent sea-view seating area. The cottage was comfortable and prettily decorated, with a good bed.

Mr Boyes, Leeds, August 2013

I liked it so much last year, I came back this year. It was even better! I was able to sit on the balcony when I got in and take in the scenery, boats, divers and canoeists coming and going from the wee harbour, different kinds of birds and passing ships and yachts. Another perfect chill-out holiday cottage.

Ms Wilson, Motherwell, July 2013

The location was stunning and the balcony was superb
