10 Customer Reviews

  • "The kitchen in particular was very well equipped and easy to use."

The sofas in the lounge however had definitely seen better days and were really quite uncomfortable. A way of drying things outside on return from the beach would have been appreciated. However enough minuses- we had a lovely week and the chalet is in a great location with plenty in the area to suit all generations.

Many thanks for your feedback. We're really happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Perhaps you didn't notice but there is a washing line to the rear of the property. I would also like to let you know that the sofas have now been replaced. Thanks again for your comments. Property Owner

  • "Lovely well equipped chalet."

The only problem was that the bathroom door didn’t close properly without someone pushing the door from the other side.

  • "On entering the property with my partner and my elderly mother we were met with a strong smell from the waste pipes, which was heightened when turning the water on to the property under the sink, this was enhanced after having a shower or flushing the toilet."

The furniture in the lounge area (2 x 2 seater couches) were very uncomfortable, especially for my mother and partner who both have back problems The barbecue which was available for us to use had been left in such a state that it would have taken hours of cleaning before using it. Overall a dismal experience.

Thank you for your comments. If we were made aware of said issues during your stay it would have been in our best interest to get the issues resolved for you as soon as possible. I would like to reassure you that there hasn't been any further issues regarding the plumbing and the sofas have now been replaced. Property Owner

  • "We had a fab week, it was just the right size for us and the location was perfect for exploring parts of West Wales that we hadn’t been to before."

Info folder container clear instructions, all the appliance switches were clearly labelled which was great. Everything was well equipped, no one minded the kids running around outside on the grass! Having an outside space to eat was great, luckily we had lovely weather. The kids also enjoyed the daily visits from a local pheasant! Driftwood was beautifully furnished, perfect for the four of us. We hope to return again one day!

  • "First impressions were there was a water stain in the second bedroom that had not been cleaned and painted plus an uneven area of flooring."

The storage facilities were poor as there was only a hanging rail and small shelf in the main bedroom with a high shelf which was at a height where storing clothing was not practical, a small chest of drawers would benefit each room. The 2 sofas in the sitting area were past their best and very uncomfortable. However the property is well situated to explore the surrounding areas, and the wet room and kitchen were well found.

Owner was fantastic in organization and availability . Would go again.

A perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside and stunning beaches. The owner contacted us in advance to check everything was OK and suggest places of interest, which was a nice touch.
