  • "This was a lovely little cottage with everything you need."

It has fantastic river/estuary views. We went the week before everything opened up for Easter so it was very quiet but that had its own charm. The milk, Welsh cakes and wine were a nice welcoming touch We would certainly like to come back.

  • "Had a wonderful week."

The views over the estuary from the annexe were amazing as were the sunsets. The owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Although the main house is close the annexe still retains its privacy through intelligent design. Pembrey Country Park is quite close and was great for long walks with our dog. There are also a wide range of other activities there. Aberfa provides a cosy hideaway for a relaxing break.

  • "A lovely spot."

Sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful view of a beach and hills the other side of the estuary. The view changed with the weather but even when Storm Noa visited us for three days it was still beautiful. The cottage is warm and comfy. The owners really helpful and accommodating. Lots of birds, but we loved the pair of robins who kept popping out as the rain stopped.

Everything is on one level and the property is very well equipped, the owners who do live there are such nice people they are there if you need them but leave you to yourselves. The beach is great, we have a dog who just loved the walks morning and night, it is a hike back up the hill back, if you not to mobile but fun. Ther area we found was so lovely with so many little places to visit with beautiful beaches seemingly every where, would dearly like to go back again, well worth the visit.
