A short drive will bring you to Pembrey Country Park with its dry ski slope, superb racing track and magnificent beach. Guests can also visit castles, enjoy shopping in Carmarthen, or take a stream train ride, making this Burry Port cottage the perfect location for a fun-filled holiday at any time of year. Burry Port is perfectly located on the beautiful South Wales coastline and has a selection of shops, a Post Office, several pubs and restaurants. The golf club is renowned for offering all year round sport no matter what the weather throws at you and the sandy beach is equally delightful on hot summer or wild stormy winter days. The harbour is a hive of activity where you can sit and watch or take an active part on boat trips out to sea. For the shoppers in your party, Carmarthen is a vibrant shopping centre with all the main chain stores plus the small, unique Welsh gift shops, lovely restaurants, tea rooms, pubs and a cinema for the film buffs. For horse racing fans, the Ffos Las racecourse is open all year with many meetings and is fast becoming the best new racecourse in the UK.
