    • “Large, lovely, beautifully done”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “My husband and I spent a week here, accompanied by my cousin. We hosted a family and friends reunion (five people) here one afternoon, and the cottage was large, nicely furnished, and had a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for our special event. Dawn, the owner, could not have been nicer and more helpful. Things that mattered especially to us besides the obvious: good wi-fi, heated floors, good insulation, meaning that this cottage would be comfy even on the coldest days. Be sure to get good directions. It is not far off the M4 but is tucked away a bit.”

    • “Fantastic recently renovated cottage”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “We stayed here over the New year period. The cottage has recently been completed and was therefore in excellent condition. The owners have finished the renovation to a high standard, whilst retaining traditional cottage features. Most of the cottage is on one level (with only a couple of steps), so was great for letting the children run free. The owners met us personally on our arrival and left a lovely hamper for us filled with locally sourced produce, which was a really nice touch. We would love to stay here again and would recommend it to friends.”

    • “The holiday cottage was superb in every way, a real home from home. Such a lovely place to return to after days out visiting the area. The location was excellent as it felt like you were in the middle of nowhere with fields all around, yet in fact we were close to all amenities. We would highly recommend this property.”

    Mrs Locke, Farnborough, October 2015

    • “Everything was well placed & the cottage was the perfect home from home. It's layout was perfect for us & we would thoroughly recommend it as a base for the area.”

    Mrs Shams, Aberdeen, October 2015

    • “The barn conversion is absolutely gorgeous, so much more than a holiday let, it really feels like a home. It is perfectly located for exploring either Pembrokeshire to the west or the Gower to the east - and the coast in this area is spectacular. At the end of each day it was lovely to return to the cosy calm of Ysgubor Hir. Highly recommended, we would very much like to revisit.”

    Mrs Pratten, Newbury, August 2015

    • “The property was immaculate with fantastic facilities, all in clean good working condition. The furnishings décor and cleanliness of the property were exceptional. All in all a beautiful property in a lovely peaceful setting. It was lovely to see animals at the garden fence, the kids loved it.”

    Mr Blanchard, Gravesend, August 2015

    • “An excellent property in a wonderful location, and we were made to feel very welcome by the owner. The cottage felt like home from home and we would highly recommend it to everyone.”

    Mrs Coton, Atherstone, June 2015

    • “The location of the cottage was perfect. Very spacious cottage and gardens, 6 people stayed but we never felt cramped and like we were on top of each other. The kitchen was fantastic; well equipped and allowed us to cook each day with ease and no need to eat out. The outside was perfect with ample room for parking, and the children had plenty of space to play football, swing ball and with the toys provided by the owner of the cottage. The views were fantastic, looking out at the mountains and fields of cows. This cottage was the ideal getaway and although we went out every day you could quite easily stay in with the lovely views, games, DVDs and books left. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anybody wanting to stay near Swansea, and if we want to return to Wales this would be the cottage we would choose.”

    Mrs Allen, Grimsby, June 2015

    • “The owner was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We have stayed in many holiday cottages over many years and this one was undoubtedly the best. Everything one could want was there with many unexpected extras, especially in the kitchen. We loved the peaceful location.”

    Mr Beardsley, Nottingham, June 2015

    • “Had a fantastic stay here. The house was great, very spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished and extremely well equipped. Thoroughly recommended.”

    Mr Walters, Shrewsbury, March 2015

    • “This property is far better than the brochure would have you believe. The sitting room and kitchen are a lot bigger than they appear in the brochure. Had very efficient under floor heating. The best one we have ever stayed at.”
