There are two lounge areas, one benefiting from a woodburning stove to relax in front of after a busy day exploring the local area.

Outside, you can sit in one of the garden areas, from the small enclosed courtyard to the undulating lawns and relax in the shade of the tree whilst taking in the sweeping views across the local countryside or perhaps kick a ball around, to run off the last of the day’s energy.

The cottage is on the Ironman cycle route so is ideal for spectators and competitors alike.

The town of Pembroke sits above the Mill Pond with the amazing figure head of Pembroke Castle, a Norman stronghold and birthplace of Henry VII, the River Pembroke then meanders on towards the main estuary.

A great little town to explore, soak up the history or relax in one of the many coffee shops or restaurants.

You are ideally placed to make the most of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with the fabulous coastal path, taking in fantastic beaches and coves such as the pretty National Trust property and beach at Stackpole, alternatively take a trip to Freshwater East, Manorbier or perhaps the Lily Ponds at Bosherston. Enjoy the fabulous walking and cycling in the area, fantastic fishing villages to explore and beautiful inland waterways.

You are within half an hour drive of fabulous days out including Heatherton World of Activities, Manor House Wildlife Park, Oakwood Theme Park, the all-weather swimming of Blue Lagoon or meet the inhabitants of Folly Farm, some a little more exotic than the name suggests.

Fabulous activity filled days for all the family to keep you busy, and that’s before you count the wonderful options of lazy beach days.

Slightly further afield, you have the pretty town of Tenby, perfect to have a go at a few water sports or catch a wildlife watching boat trip or the smaller quaint village of Saundersfoot, with some fabulous restaurants tucked away.

Less than an hour drive you have the intimate city of St Davids, which is surrounded by beautiful beaches, and the drive to it takes you through some fabulous coves, many enticingly quiet.
