Morfa Bach Farm Cottages

Kidwelly 3 miles. Four outstanding barn conversions, three with a fabulous hot tub, on a working animal farm in a sleepy hamlet in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, 3 miles from Kidwelly, 6 miles from Llanelli. Sympathetically converted from former farm buildings, including a dairy and a piggery, these fabulous Kidwelly cottages retain many character features including stone walls, oak woodwork and warming woodburners. Each Kidwelly cottage has a private garden and shared use of a pretty garden with rabbits and a pond with black swans, while anglers can make use of private access to a 1 mile stretch of the River Gwendreath. Elder Cottage (ref 2303) and Rowan Cottage (ref 2357) each have a ground floor bedroom and walk-in style wet room, while Willow Cottage (ref 3810) has two ground floor bedrooms with en-suite wet rooms, making three of the four Kidwelly cottages suitable for accompanied disabled guests (please call office for further details). The surrounding countryside provides excellent walks and fantastic days out at Ffos Las Racecourse, fast becoming one of the best courses in the UK offering all year round meetings. Nearby Kidwelly offers shops, pubs and one of Wales' finest castles. A short drive away, Pembrey Country Park boasts outdoor activities and a Blue Flag beach - just another reason why these Kidwelly cottages are ideal for a varied family holiday. Note: The four properties, Refs 2303, 2357, 3810 and 14184 can be booked together to accommodate up to 30.

The cottage was superb. It's a working farm - so had on occasion a couple of smells outside from muck spreading on the fields, but nothing unbearable and could not smell anything inside.
